What is the difference between 'nvram' and 'manual' in below output .
Interface IP-Address Method Status Protocol
GigabitEthernet0/1 X.X.X.X NVRAM up up
Serial0/0/0 X.X.X.X manual down down
could you please explain..

NVRAM means the configuration was loaded into the system by the startup config file. Manual means that the IP address was input into the system since the last reboot.
