show interface output format

Hello, I was wondering why the output from the 'sh inteface' command, underneath '5 minute output rate' is indented ?

Is there any specific reason for this ?

the level of traffic going through the router is just too low, resulting in this statistical analysis.

You could try and change the value of the interface load-interval down to 30 seconds:

conf t

interface f0/0

load-interval 30

I would suggest setting the load-interval to 30 seconds, this will give you a better representation of the bandwidth at the times you are issuing the command.  Can you set the load interval by issuing the "load-internal 30" interface command.

Hello, thanks for your reply, however I am simply referring to why the information underneath the '5 minute output rate' line is indented i.e. tabbed in from the left hand edge.
