What is the minimum number of switches required for stacking on C3850 switches.

i think only 3750 series can be stacked ..nt sure

For the 3850, and any other stackables, the minimum to form a stack is 2.
The current maximum for the 3850 is 4. That will change in the future (to 9). Reference.

Correct. HSRP and stacking of 9 switches will be out in the Sept/Oct time frame.
