uninstall the switch

we have installed the switch and wireless lan conctroller and enter management IP, how to uninstall the switch and wireless lan controller as we need to return this switch and WLC to our vendor

Dear expert, I can only delete startup config, but I want to delete running config as well, how to do?

if you delete the startup config as Genesh provided and reload the switch there is no running-config left to load

Hello Petercinvest,

Do you mean to make it fresh switch by stating Uninstall , If yes then do write erase or erase startup-config on switch and then reload.

for WLC Use the reset system command.

This doesn't delete the vlans on the switch. You will need to do a "delete vlan.dat" command to remove them.
