is it possible to upgrade a vss switch - one at a time?
i have a lot of servers on my vss switches. if i do the normal upgrade, i have to reboot the vss and loose both my physical switches and all server connectivity is lost. I am wondering if there is any way that the interswitch link can be broken (break the vss) then upgrade one switch at a time and then redo the vss link?

Hi,
The direction is pretty much the same as 122-50.SY. I have also Sup-2T with IOS 15.0
Here is the config guide for 15.1SY which is the latest.

Hi,
Yes, you need to use eFSU to upgrade one switch at a time.

thanks reza. i had seen this info on this link. i should have mentioned that i have sup2t supervisors and my current ios version is s2t54-ipservicesk9-mz.SPA.122-50.SY.bin --- s2t54 Software (s2t54-IPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.2(50)SY.
all the esfu upgrade info that i read relates to SX versions. Is there an SX version available to use with sup 2t's?
thanks,
