Hi All - What I'm trying to do is connect my home internet (5GB symmetrical with a /29 static IP block) to the 10GB ports on my 3750x. I have both modules in and ports are up but I cannot get internet access through connected devices.
Here is a rough diagram of my setup.
What I would like to do is to push the WAN IP to the ASUS router 2.5GB port (using ip passthru possibly on the ATT gateway - which im still in contact with AT&T forums about) while also having the 3750 on the 10.1.1.1 /24 network.
All wireless traffic and SOME wired traffic is coming in through the ASUS router. Also there are devices connected into the 3750.
I'm guessing I should have them on separate VLANS, put an IP from the /29 on TE1 and implement a route directing traffic to the DGW (which will be the ATT Gateway)?
I apologize if I'm not verbalizing this in a manner that makes sense. I've been at this for hours now, overthinking it and my brain is mush. I was looking at this thread https://community.cisco.com/t5/switching/using-3750-as-router/td-p/1803444 but cant correlate that situation with mine. Any help from the experts is GREATLY appreciated.

throw us the config. You need SVIs and ip routing in the running config.

I do not understand some of your explanation about the network. And what you explain does not match up well with the diagram. The diagram shows the ATT gateway, your 3750 switch and the ASUS router. Based on that diagram I would suggest that if on the switch you put both TE1 and TE2 into the same vlan, and did not attempt to configure an IP address for that vlan on the switch that you would effectively transfer the ATT address block to the ASUS router.
I do not know what other devices you have or how they are connected. So can not give good advice about any of that.

from what I see he is using the 3750 with a /29 subnet. So he can use it as an Internet switch. L2 or L3

if that works then look at your other router setup.

so now you know your connection is good from that 3750. You will need to look at the asus router setup. You dont need to use up a layer 3 address on the 3750. devices that need to use the /29 network just make sure they are on vl 500.
