VRRP Best Practices

I have a remote site that has setup VRRP on interfaces 5/1 and 5/2. Should both the master and the slave interface ports be on the same module or on separate ones...if they are available? Is there a best practice document for VRRP that will state this?

Richard ideally you would want them on 2 seperate physical devices. If this is not an option than you would definitly want to seperate them amongst different blades or different switches (in a switch stack). Depending on how your routing works or how your WAN is configured you may want to track on an interface to determine which device should be active. Hope this link helps..
