We have two switches in VSS from where we are connecting a server configuring port channel on VSS.
- SW1=======SW2 (in VSS)
- Server having two uplinks connecting to VSS.
- Server's one uplink is getting connected on Gig1/1/9 (SW1-VSS) and second uplink is getting connected on Gig2/1/9 (SW2-VSS).
- We have configured port channel without LACP.
interface port-channel 102
switch mode trunk
interface Gig1/1/9
switch mode trunk
channel-group 102 mode on
interface Gig2/1/9
switch mode trunk
channel-group 102 mode on
Problem - when we shutdown one port Gig1/1/9 server is reachable from other port 2/1/9 , But when we down 2/1/9 server going non accessible on UP port gig1/1/9
please guide where could be the problem.

Hi,
- Is this a 4k or 6k in VSS?
- Whats the code running on this device?
- Which switch is the active one, switch #1 or #2?
There are some issues where standby switch wont forward the packets.
Regards
David
