Hello
Actually by default IOS functions the exception data-corruption.
However what is the exception data-corruption?
Especially truncates means any cut off buffer size of logs?
I am not sure what it is going on. I appreciate if there is any use case with sample log and sequence.
To manage data error exceptions, use the exception data-corruption command in global configuration mode. To disable the management of data error exceptions, use the no form of this command.
Logs the number of attempts to overwrite the buffer.
Truncates the number of times the buffer is overwritten.
Immediately reloads the data when a problem is detected.
Best Regards,

Hi,
I am not much familiar with command but once TAC has used this command to get specific information only in the crash file means to customize the crash file information.
Here is the good information on the same: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios-xml/ios/bsm/command/bsm-cr-book/bsm-cr-a1.html#wp2729259030
