Hi all
We have an old C20 that we have re-installed for a client, but the unit does not start up at all. All we get is a red blinking light? Does this mean the codec is faulty? Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi Chris,
It looks like a network connectivity issue.
Check for link lights on network port.
• Connect laptop or other device to cat5 cable connected to codec to verify network connectivity.
• Try different cat5 cable.
• Check switch port for any issues(May be some configuration required to authenticate the device in network).
Can you please confirm the software version of the device?

Hi Chris,
is this device was ever configured with IP address ? or it is a new setup ?
if you are able to see Cisco logo on screen and then screen goes blank, then probably C20 is stuck on boot loop. please try below steps to do factory reset on it:
Power down the C20. This can be done by:
Once the C20 is powered down, press and hold the reset button. If you unplugged it to power it down, hold down the reset button and plug in power adapter.
After approximately 10 seconds the status LED will start blinking slowly. Release the button and push it twice within the next 5 seconds. The LED will start blinking faster indicating it is booting.
After a successful factory reset, a confirmation message will be written on the screen after the boot is complete.
