On our SX20 that does not have a Touch 10 (just the regular remote), there is a popup every 30 seconds to download proximity and share or share from the connected cable.
If you dismiss this message, it pop up after 30 seconds making the meeting experience terrible.
Does anyone have a solution for this?

This message will pop up when a device is connected to the DVI port. If it's continually popping up, then it suggests that the device that is on the end of the cable may be doing something strange and registering itself as connected, then disconnected at your 30 second interval.
One way you can stop this from popping up is to change the Video Input Connector 2 PresentationSelection from "On Connect" to "Manual". You will then need to manually press the Share button to display any content.
If you don't use proximity, you can also turn that off by setting the Proximity Mode to "Off".
