Cisco Telepresence EX90 remote is not working

Hi Experts,

I have a problem with EX90 is that when connecting the Remote Touch tablet to the screen ,it is not working at all. What could be possible the problem?

I beleive it's a matter of plug and play.

Appreciate your help.

Hello Amr Sherif,

What the version you run at this moment on the EX90 ?

Do you have power on the touch panel ?

From root can you ping the touch panel  ?

$ ping endeavour

And also check the file messages.log under directory /var/log

Hi,

We have a similiar problem. Sometimes the touch panel is working sometimes it is not working. It gives the error on it "the touch screen has no network conneciton tandberg". What do you think is the problem?

Hans, you asked the version of the EX90? Is there any requirement about the version?

Hello Tufan,

Just want to understand which version you run during this time on the EX90 . And also looking if you can capture the logs explained on April 10th 2012, to review for which reason it occur.

One CDETS open for  :  CSCtw86018    Touch Control Device freezes and becomes unusable [Happen after upgrade]. But in your case it occur random to stop working , and you need to reboot the EX90 ?

What you also can do is run the tcpdump command :

$ tcpdump -i eth1.4090 -vv -X
