Thanks for your feedback.
This is possibly due to incomplete file upload (or corrupted the file during upload).
We will upload the those files once again.

Please try download those two files again.
Both files should be available now (just tried and verified).

Hi Tomonori!
Think I red here in the forum that it was thought for x7.2 to have source caller id rewrite (not using findme).
I did not see anything in the introduction deck / release notes.
vipnetops: its quite common that it takes some time to be updated, I also noticed hat
the cisco site shows other links (incl x7.2 stuff) when I used firefox and when I used
lynx they were not shown, ...

Martin,
CPL source alias rewrite is indeed a new feature of X7.2 although not specifically mentioned in the release notes.
The new CPL attribute is called 'source-url-for-message' and is explained in the "Location" section of the CPL reference on page 350 of the X7.2 Administrator's guide.
Regards
Andreas

Thanks for the update.
Reading through the introduction it mentions an update to the default media port range. Would it be possible to change it back to the old range assuming I didn't need to use the new media encryption policy feature? We have one particular traversal zone where the firewall is controlled by a different organisation and it would be difficult to change, but I'd like to take advantage of some of the other new features.

Hi Nick!
I would say it shall not be an issue.
If I remember it right when the port range was extended the last time only the default value was
upgraded but not the configured setting, in this case the port range is extended:
*c xConfiguration Traversal Media Port Start: 50000
*c xConfiguration Traversal Media Port End: 54999
You can change the port settings via the CLI or
xConfiguration Traversal Media Port End: 52399
https://
In general you just need enough ports for your calls, if you cound 100 traversal calls with max 18 udp ports
each (at least thats whats counted for turn licenses) then you end up with 1800 ports, its wise to have some more,
so yes, you will be on the save side.
Anyhow I would check with your firewall guys to prepare the bigger port range, then its easier
to maintain the infrastrucutre by using the defaults, ...
If you have more questions about that I would recomend that you open up a new thread for it as
this one will most likely get unreadable :-)

Hi - Just following up on this, I upgraded one of my VCS-E's and it did change the configured range of traversal media ports to 50000 - 54999.
Easy to change back to 52999 but good to know anyway.

Yes, that is expected result after X7.2 software upgrade.
As mention earlier, if you won’t use encryption policy or use encryption policy but simultaneous call number is less than what media port range is available, you can modify media port range as you needed.

Yes, the media port range for traversal subzone is configurable and you may modify the end media port back to 52399 same as X7.1 specification.

Just a question, is the provisioning of the iPad Jabber client for the VCS starter pack available in this software release?
would be nice :-)
