Downgrade from TC6.01 to TC5.1.5

Hi,

I have recently upgraded a C20 and EX60 to TC6.0.1 from TC4.1.4 and TC5.1.4 respectively. As per customer requests, I was then ordered to have them downgraded to TC5.1.5 for both units.

After the downgrade, I am unable to access the web interface for both units. Either using http or https. I can make calls and telnet to the codecs. After telnet-ing to the codec, I have checked that both HTTP and HTTPS are turned on under network services.

What could be the problem?

Thanks

Hi Wee,

There should not be any such issue.
What do you get as the error on the web browser . As mentioned there is no such known issue however if it is still happening try accessing on any other browser. That should be fine.

Else do a hard reboot to the codec

Let me know if that works

Ravi kr.

Hi Ravi,

I dont have physical access to the unit. The below is the error I got. However, if I perform a selectsw to the TC6.0.1 image, I am able to web into the codec again.

This web page is not available

The web page at might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

Error 103 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_ABORTED): Unknown error.

Hello,

are we "listening" to the http/hhtps ports?

If you have root access you can do :

[BGL-SX20:/tmp] $ netstat -apn | grep lighttpd

tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:80              0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN      1387/lighttpd

tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:443             0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN      1387/lighttpd

tcp        0      0 127.0.0.1:8093          0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN      1387/lighttpd

tcp        0      0 :::80                   :::*                    LISTEN      1387/lighttpd

tcp        0      0 :::443                  :::*                    LISTEN      1387/lighttpd

unix  3      [ ]         STREAM     CONNECTED     4355   1387/lighttpd

[BGL-SX20:/tmp] $

Are we listening to the ports 80 or 443 ?

Hi Wee,

It could be that your TC5.1.5 pkg file is corrupted  since you're experiencing this issue on several systems. I would suggest  you to download it again and to re-apply the update; maybe check the  md5 checksum before to proceed.
