Far End Camera Control Function is not available in Cisco Jabber 4.4

Dear all,

We have configured the  Template_jabber_4.4

Far End Camera Control

on

In the client pc, we have installed the Cisco Jabber video for telepresence Versin 4.4.

However, during the conference, there is " far end camera control is not avaliable" in the video screen.

May I know any configuration that I have missed?

Have you uploaded the 4.4 schema and created and assigned a 4.4 provisioning template with FEC set to "On" ?

As Jen mention above, unless you manually enable FECC in provisioning template and assign it to Jabber Video user, FECC won’t enable on client.

We have confirmed that the Far End Camera Control turned ON in the Jabber 4.4 template.

However, the camera control did not show up.

Does this happen with all sites, or just the one? Is the camera at the other site a camera that actually can be controlled by far end - and if so, are the other site allowing FEC?

As a side issue, upgrading to 4.5 is highly recommended.
