You can jump directly to TC7.3.3 with no worries. Your previous RK for TC6.1 will be valid and still intact for TC7.x.x without entering new RK. And of course as a best practice always do a backup prior to upgrade.

You don't need release keys, see page 39 of the release notes; "As from software version TC6.1, you do not need to install new release keys; it is sufficient that the
video system has a valid release key for any earlier TC software version. This means that it is possible to upgrade from 6.1.0 to 7.x.x without entering a new release key."
You do need a valid service contract in order to download the software though.

do i use the normal or non-crypto version of the software

Same version as is already installed, which would be the "normal" version unless you are in area where crypto is prohibited.
Log in to the web gui, the software version currently installed is listed on the first page you get to after logging in.

it says "TC6.1.1.7d7af15" is this normal or non-crypto?

TC is a crypto version. TCNC is non-crypto.
In your case you need TC version which is TC7.3.3 and not TCNC7.3.3.

I highly recommend going to 6.3.1 prior to making the jump to 7.x. I have had issues.
