I am trying to change the calling party ID using a VCS. This can be done easily with a CUCM by creating a Route Pattern and using the "Calling Party Transformation Mask". Does anyone know how to do this same thing via a VCS?

Hi Rachel,
with the current VCS software (X7) you have two options, FindMe Source Rewrite and CPL-based static source rewrite.
FindMe Source rewrite is described in more detail in the VCS Administrator's guide.
For CPL-based static source rewrite, please check out the following forum post for more information:

In the upcoming X8 software for the VCS, it will become possible to perform dynamic regex-based source rewrite through CPL, which adds a lot more flexibility.
