Hi Folks,
Please can someone clarify whether are there any compatibility issues between Cisco Spark Board and stanalone MX800 with regards to calls using SIP.
I am not able to make calls from the MX800 using the SIP URI and Cisco Spark cannot call me using the public IP.
Thanks
IP dialing is not supported and must use SIPS for dialing.

The destination of a call must use standards-based SIP Secure (SIPS) URI dialing. Other call protocols or methods, such as insecure SIP over TCP or UDP, H.323, IP dialing, ISDN, Microsoft Lync, or Microsoft Skype for Business, are unsupported.
Hi Mori**bleep**a,
Thanks for the response but still the article doesn't clarifies whether Standalone MX800 will be able to call the spark board.
Please can you check if i am missing something.
Thanks
I don't believe standalone SIP is supported to call to Webex Board because all of explanation in the doc refer to SBC.
Or it is not tested by Cisco, I would say.
CSA might give you some clue. It can analyze log bundles from endpoint.

Hi,
You will be able to call from Cisco Webex board if your destination (Standalone MX device) is using a URI.
so could you please confirm that you are using SIP URI on a standalone device? if it is not a SIP then you cannot make calls to/from Cisco WebEx boards. there is no dependability on what device you are using as standalone at your premises.
for more details on the topic may find on below URL's;

Shalid
If you don't have the infrastructure in place to register this MX800, my recommendation would be to get a subscription to register it to the Cisco cloud, same as the Spark Board, then you'll be able to place calls seamlessly.
