Level 1

Hi everyone,

Please help my AIM-CUE module, it keep rebooting again and again, that happens when I found it not booting correct, and tried to install from boot helper mode, the boot helper installation didn’t successful, because it’s just rebooted, not like normally boot helper installation.

First, when I from the router, I reset the module, IF I DIDN’T DO ANYTHING, the CUE module it’s just keep rebooting again and again, here’s the output:

Router#service-module service-Engine 0/1 reset

Use reset only to recover from shutdown or failed state

Warning: May lose data on the the NVRAM, nonvolatile file system or unsaved configuration!

Do you want to reset?[confirm]

Trying to reload Service Module Service-Engine0/1.

From the CUE, I got:

So you can see both TFTP and FTP works properly, normally after:

WARNING:: Software installation will clear disk contents

Continue [n]? y

Next step you should see the screen to choose the language, and continue.

But for mine, it didn’t shows me the choose language screen, however it went rebooting again, and then the rebooting just cycling as previous.

Anyone has encountered the same problem before? Or some experience guy can give me a help.

Thanks a lot.

You should use latest CUE software, not that old one.

Hi Paolo,

actaully I tried, but the same result, so that's why I choose the the old version to near the previouse version in the CUE, I believe is 2.x.x. Any other idea?

thanks,

Can be faulty hardware.

Don't know at this moment. I bought it on ebay, so before I ship it out, hope I can fix it.

thanks,
