Can you try a different browser or try doing ssh into CLI of the server and check the status of services through "utils service list" command.

i would like to ask is ATA 186 , 187   they will work as well and who is better from 186 and 187

thanks for your reply

Hi,

You should stick with ATA 190 so that you can get support from TAC. ATA 186 is totally end of support so it is not recommended at all. ATA 187 although still has some more time before it goes end of support but its end of sale as well. If looking at a long term solution you should go for ATA 190. To check for their features and specs just check their datasheet, also check the EOL notices here

Hello ,,

i would like to update the release notes so i can be able to add ATA 190 Device

Hi Mahmoud,

On this version you will need to install a device pack for cucm 10.5.1 , you can download it from the following link

http://www.cisco.com/web/software/282074299/119338/cmterm-devicepack10.5.1_12020-1_ReleaseNotes.pdf

https://software.cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=285963825&softwareid=282074299&release=10.5(1.12020)

Here is the read me file for this device pack which needs to be installed on all servers followed by a cluster reboot.

Alternatively, i checked in my lab on cucm version  10.5.2.11900-3 and it has the option to add ATA 190. You can do a minor upgrade to this cucm version or any other higher 10.5.2 version by downloading from the following link

https://software.cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=285963825&flowid=77896&softwareid=282074295&release=10.5(2)SU3a&relind=AVAILABLE&rellifecycle=&reltype=latest

If you have any IM&P integration then it wil also need to be upgraded to a 10.5.2 version.

Can you try a different browser or try doing ssh into CLI of the server and check the status of services through "utils service list" command.

Hello Eng : Manish Gogna ,,

the Device (ATA 190 Cisco Analog telephone)  is this will work as fax server so i will received fax throw this device i will add it with callmanager

do i need anything else with it

and what is the steps for configuring the device i'm lost with the documentation

Thanks alot for ur help before:)

If utilizing NSE Fax Pass-through G711ulaw, then you would want to configure the gateway with:

Config t
Voice service voip
Modem passthrough nse codec g711ulaw

You can either configure it globally above or on the dial-peer,  dial-peer configuration will always take precedence over the global config.

If you decide to go with Fax Pass-through then it would be:

Config t
Voice service voip
Fax protocol pass-through G711ulaw

For T.38 you can refer the following guide
