Call manager upgrade with PCD Tool

Hello,

I'm performing an upgrade of callmanager, unity, and IM&P. Going to try and use the PCD Tool. My question is this. I'm currently running version 8.6

upgrading to version 10.5. My current 8.6 machines are already virtual. They are running on the 9.1 ova template. So in the PCD would this me a migration, or upgrade? What I mean by that is should I just upgrade my current VM's or depoly the 10.5 ova template then do migration. Never used the PCD tool before.

The only difference PCD would do if you upgrade, is that it would load the ISO image for you, and kickstart the process, besides that, the rest of the steps, are still manual. I really don't use PCD for upgrades, the real power of PCD is the migration
