Cisco 2911 Gateway IOS Jomp

Hello Everyone.

I have a doubt. I get a end customer has a Cisco Gateway ISR 2911 with 15.0(1) M4 (c2900-universalk9-mz.SPA.150-1.M4.). My question is, ¿ can I directly jump to the cisco recomend version 15.6(3)M8 ? or ¿ I should to upgrade some version before ?.

You should be abe to go frmo 15.0 to 1.6 without issue.

The main thing I would suggest is to review the running config (backup as well) and ensure no changed or deprecated lines are going to be removed.

Check the boot loader version of the gateway to see if it would require an upgrade before you upgrade IOS.
