Cisco jabber and cisco ip phone ring simultaneously

Hello all,

We have a cisco jabber and cisco ip phone configured with a shared line (same extension )

I would like to know is there any way  both devices must ring simultaneously and i choose where to pick up from.

If both devices, Jabber and the desk phone, have the same directory number and the DN is in the same partition, ie its a shared number it would ring on both devices simultaneously and you can select which device to answer on. If it doesn’t it would mean that you don’t have a shared line.
