I have one master and one slave and there are two offices 20 milliseconds apart.

There is one SIP and one voice gateway router on each office.

is it possible to install master and slave cucm on each office with failover configuration?

Yes that’s possible. Advise you to read the appropriate sections in the SRND that covers cluster over WAN.

Thanks for the quick response.

If each office has a different main office number with different greetings, will it support in island mode?

By island mode do you refer to if the connection between the two sites are down? It would depend on what you plan to use for playing the greeting?

yes, if the line between sites is down, I guess each cucm will function as a master for the site.

I am curious how greetings will work.

What do you plan to use for playing the greetings and would that also be deployed in each of your sites?

You can have different cluster in each office and connect these Cluster using SIP trunk.  Install Unity Connection on each site for greetings.

Another options will be Clustering through Wan , where you install Publisher and subscriber in One office and in the second office install one or two subscribers.

We dont call  Master/slave. we call it Publisher and subscriber
