Hello,
I have worked with older versions of call manager which would work on Windows operating system. I read that the newer versions are not supported on Windows OS. What Operting system they work on? Linux?
Thank you.

They are Appliances running Linux RedHat under the hood, since they are appliances you do not have any access to the OS kernel itself. All management is done via web GUI or SSH.

The CUCM installation media loads the UCOS when you install onto supported hardware.

Chris,
Does that mean I will need just the hardware without the operating system to install CUCM??
