CUCM - RAM Upgrade

Hey Everyone,

I was doing a CUCM upgrade from 12.x to 15.x when pre upgrade check gave RAM Warning. Is it ok to upgrade RAM of VM without impacting CUCM's data? Ofcourse i understand we have to shutdown CUCM to perform edit settings on VM.

Yes you can safely change that.

I have similar questions for CUCM direct upgrade from 14SU3 to 15SU3a:

Which time I need to change RAM, Linux OS version and VM compatibility?

Before "upgrade initiate" or before "switch version" (which would mean to shutdown the servers when "initiate upgrade" has finished ?

Anything related to the hardware before the upgrade and guest OS after.
