Could I install an additional 10.6 Publisher on my C240 M3 server, then upgrade it to 11.5 instead of upgrading the production CUCM?

Sounds awfully long way to get from A to B. If you’re worried about the upgrade going south and want a secure way to back out I would recommend you to create a clone of your VMs before you start with the upgrade. Please note that it’s a clone, not a snapshot, as that is not supported for CVOS systems.

Thanks for the input, I agree with you as well as I`m not sure that adding VM`s to the server wouldn`t impact the applications currently running as far as resources.
