Hi,
I need to deploy 9 Cisco UCS C220 M3 with 64GB on RAM, so I received from Cisco 18 R-VMW-UC-FND5-K9 activation codes.
This codes are for 2-Socket and 32GB vRAM, so I need to combine two codes into one to load it on my ESXi.
Last year, on another project happened the same situation, and I've opened a case on VMware, because the codes that Cisco provides can't be registered on VMware web to combine them later. Last year they provided me new codes to solve the issue. This year they told me that the codes are oly for activation and contact Cisco to solve the problem.
So what shall I do? Open a case on Cisco License? Or load two codes on each ESXi?
TIA.

If you are unable to combine the license files on VMWares website, then I would open a TAC case with Cisco licensing.

Hi Andres,
UCS C220 M3 have 2 CPU sockets with 64G,
R-VMW-UC-FND5-K9 is an OEM key for 2 CPU socket and 32G RAM per socket.
So you should be covered.
