SIP SRST

Hi Experts,

I am trying to implement SIP SRST and did the configuration below:

voice register global
default mode
no allow-hash-in-dn
system message *** Phone System Down ***
max-dn 200
max-pool 50

voice register pool 1
id network 192.168.0.0 mask 255.255.0.0
preference 1
dtmf-relay rtp-nte sip-kpml
voice-class codec 1

However, phones are not registering. I am getting this on my CUBE/SIP VG.

SIP/2.0 503 Service Unavailable - registrar unavail or not enabled

I have a connection to ITSP and we are using authentication under sip-ua so I am unable to replace the registrar IP under sip-ua.

registrar ipv4:###.###.###.### expires 3600

Any configuration I missed or a workaround?

You need registration for both, so you should move the ITSP registration configuration from the sip-ua to a tenant configuration. This frees up the sip-ua to be used for SRST.

As @Roger Kallberg indicated, if you have CUBE and CME/SRST co-colocated on the same router, you must use a tenant-configuration (you will find lots of older posts about that and a lot of documentation, google is your friend).

You are also missing the following command in voice-service-voip:

voice service voip
 sip
  registrar server
