Hi all,
Am going to upgrade CUEAC and CER from 9.X to 10.5.please guide me the proper procedure to complete the upgradation
successfully .thank you.

For CUAC you need to run the executable file for Attendant Console Advanced 10.5 and during the installation process you are going to be asked if you want to keep the existing database or not; once you see this screen you need to click on yes to keep the existing DB to migrate the old configuration.

Hi Manish,
if i upgrade the cucm to 10.5 , what about the licencing part , how should i proceed with licensing during the upgradation , all the elm will be converted to pLm or i need to intimate cisco before the upgrade itself .how should i plan?

Hi Balaji,
Prior to upgrading to 10.5, u need to place order through PUT to get above Sales order number to be shared with licensing team .
you can upgrade Call manager to 10.5.Once upgraded successfully, u need to generate PLM request file from PLM.
Copy and paste it in Notepad and share it with licensing@cisco.com along with Sales Order number to get license file.
you would get 60 days grace period to get permanent lic files.
