Can anyone tell me the command line to add a voice translation rule for forwarding a # temporarily??
CME/CUE Version 8.5
I need number 512-333-3444 forwarded to 512-519-0056
and I need to know how to delete that rule once I no longer need it
I believe I would start in config t
then : voice translation - rule 3
rule 1
then not sure after that :)
would really love some help on this today!

There are plenty of documents explaining how to configure voice translation rules on cco, have you reviewed them???

i looked at a few but haven't seen any specifically for voice translation for forwarding
maybe I was looking in the incorrect place

You can use num-exp command which is similar to translation rule..test it out
R1 (Config) num-exp 5123333444 5125190056

Hi suresh!
do I give it a name or is it just
config t
R1 num-exp 5123333444 5125190056
is there a space between the two numbers??

Thank you Suresh,
I tried it. I get Invalid Character detected on the R1
I assumed I needed that part as well or should I leave it out?

it did not work.
people attempting to send to the fax# just get a fast busy.
might be something else going on.
command and function may be correct but could possibly be another issue within our system
