Unity Connection Fail safe message

I have just installed Unity Connection Version 8.6.2.20000-2. I am running the default license until i receive my license files from Cisco. I added one user and when i call the user, it goes to connection opening greeting, attempts to transfer to operator after opening greeting and then play fail safe message.

I do not know why it is doing this, the extension i am calling is configured in connection. This is the output from remote port status monitor.

Is the user's extension 1180?  Did you change any of the default CSS/Partition on UCXN?

I upgraded to CUC version 8.6.2.22900-9 and no longer getting the fail safe message. However I am still getting the opening greeting and not the user personal greeting. I am calling from the PSTN, have not had the opportunity yet to test from an extension if that makes any difference. Any suggestions ?

So the extension for the voicemail box is correct right? in message settings for the standard greeting you have it going to personal greeting right?

Chris

Yes I changed the default partition and CSS, what do I need to do to use tyese

You need to make sure that the partition assigned to the user is listed in the CSS assigned to the default routing rules, etc.
