Hi all,
We are trying to change/minus the size of Management IP pool for UCS blades KVM.
Some of IP addresses are allocated to existing blades, could i delete existing the IP pools directly and create the new small block for the KVM Management?
if I do like the above, i know i will lose KVM to the blades.
Besides that, what's the impact? Does the server trafffic will be interrupted or blades reboot?
Thank you very much!
Best Regards,

No harmful impact other than losing CIMC access for a while (kvm, virtual media, IPMI etc). You blade will not reboot. This is strictly an out-of-band management connection.
Create your new pool, then zap your old one. The blades will immiediately wish through the other pool for an available IP.

Robert
