We are looking for instructions on installing ESXi 7.0 U3 on UCS 240 M4SX. The servers used for some other applications and are not in use for past 2 years. We downloaded ucs-c240m4-huu-4.1.2g.iso, ucs-cxxx-scu-6.1.2d.iso, ucs-cxxx-drivers-vmware.4.1.3z01.iso and Cisco custom image "VMware-ESXi-7.0.3d-19482537-Custom-Cisco-4.2.2-a.iso". Need clarification on where to start, how to proceed, which iso to be used ..
Looking for a guidance. Thanks in advance.

This procedure is dated, but its the same general idea. Mount the ISO through the vMedia on the vKVM and boot the server, press F6, select the installer ISO, select the disk you want once the ISO loads, install, remove the vMedia, reboot.
This assumes your boot order is set correctly to boot from the correct target.

I believe ESXi 7.0 U3 requires installation to genuine disks. Can't install to USB or SD cards as in previous versions.
