Hello Friends,
There are need to configure port connectivity between Cisco FI 6248 FC port & Broade SAN switch. So can I create port channel between them. So will get redundancy as well as more bandwidth.
As this configuration will going to do first time. So if someone have video link to demonstrate please share with me.
Is it same procedure as we create port channel from LAN tab?
Regards,
Ravi.

Hi Ravi
UCS will be in FC End host mode = npv; Brocade is in NPIV mode (which they call Gateway).
This configuration doesn't support any port channel, nor trunking (on Cisco MDS: feature fport-channel-trunk).

Thanks for reply.
As customer going to put 4 cables from each FI to SAN brocade switch. So how will link aggregation or redundancy will happened in case one or more physical link goes down ?
Already configured each FI ports (17,18,19,20) are configured as lan uplink & are in end host mode.

Easy ! I assume all 4 links are in the same VSAN (on the FI, Brocade doesn't understand VSAN's); the outgoing connections are round robin'd; if links fail, there will be a new flogi over one of the remaining links.
Caveat: if failed links comes back on line, there will be no redistribution of the traffic.

Just to piggy back on Walters answer, to redistribute the traffic you will need to reboot the blade.
