I got this message on my chassis, can you advise what this means and how can it be cleared:

You can review the SEL (system event logs) by highlighting the server in question in the equipment tab, selecting "SEL Logs" tab on the right hand side and check what is logged.
You can also clear the logs or export them using the same window.

Hi, Thanks for the prompt response.
The description is: log capacity on management controller on server 1/2 is very low. What can I do to resolve this?

Hello,
Please clear out the SEL log. This will resolve the errors, and clear the faults. If you see messages re-occur immediately for hardware, etc, then address them accordingly.

The proper way to do it, is creating a "SEL Policy" under "Global Policies", which logs the content of the SEL buffer to e.g. a FTP server, and then clearing it. If you don't do anything, the SEL buffer fills up, and all the events after are lost, which might become a problem in troubleshooting the blade hardware.
