Hi All,
We have one UCS VIC 1225 10GBps card installed on slot 2 of the CISCO UCS C240 M4S server. OS is windows 2012 R2. We have installed proper firmware and driver but still we are unable to ping the IP configured on the VIC adapter.
We have tried with Trunk / access VLAN mode setting but did not work as well.
On the CIM page, under Inventory-->PCI Adapters, it is showing "Not Loaded" under the Option ROM Status....
Can anyone help to fix this issue. On the switch side, network team has configured switch port with "switch port access vlan 100"
Thanks,

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
I am configuring the IP on adapter on windows OS. I am using single vNIC port for the IP configuration. It is simple access port with VLAN ID 100 but still unable to make the connection. Physical port is up on the OS side. Cable is also Ok.

Got it. That link will show you how to configure the upstream switches etc.
Are you able to ping your default gateway?
Are you learning the mac address on the upstream switch correctly?
Sounds like a networking issue or possibly config if links are up/up.

Right,
Thats the issue, unable to ping Default gateway and from the switch side, unable to learning MAC address as well However port status is up/up.

If you are not even learning the mac address the VLAN configuration must be incorrect.
Can you send screen captures of how the adapter is configuring via CIMC? The previous document also outlines the correct parameters.
