Does anyone have good documentation on the process of upgrading my 1000v from nexus-1000v-mz.4.2.1.SV1.4 to Nexus1000v.4.2.1.SV1.4a? First time on Nexus IOS and want to upgrade before it goes into production, but having a hard time finding detailed steps. Thank you!

I followed this process recently, it was pretty straightforward. However I would only follow this guide for the VSM upgrades. When it comes to upgrading the VEM I used VMware Update Manager instead as it was an easier process.

Thanks Abhinav and Simon! The videos helped with the version verification, Abhinav. Simon, the doco link and suggestion to use the VUM to upgrade the VEM was perfect. HIGHLY recommend doing that. It was seamless and no interruptions were experienced.
Follow the upgrade doco line by line, and choose the VUM to upgrade the VEM and it should be relatively easy. Googling "Upgrade Guide" "Release ?????????", with the ???? being the release to which you want to upgrade worked to locate the doco.
