Is this real life? The 4451-X is a $20,000+ router and we can't have more than 8 MAC's per hardware interface?? Makes no sense, we are seeing this exact bug when trying to run port-channels with more than 8 sub interfaces.

I have this same problem with my client right now. I don't see the SKU available for an upgrade in MCE either. Did you ever figure it out? SWSS should obviously cover this.
I think the problem is unique to situations where you have link aggregation to the core switch. I've seen a few other posts online about this issue, and all have AGGR/XYZ ports showing for the client.
