Hello,
I am trying to add the business name to an outbound caller-id on a SIP trunk. The ip carrier allows this service in SIP traffic. Does this happen on the dial-peer?
Thanks, Matt

Try this:
UC500(config)#sip-ua
UC500(config-sip-ua)#calling-info ?
pstn-to-sip Specify calling information treatment for PSTN to SIP calls
sip-to-pstn Specify calling information treatment for SIP to PSTN calls
UC500(config-sip-ua)#calling-info pstn-to-sip from name ?
set Set calling name to specified text string
UC500(config-sip-ua)#calling-info pstn-to-sip from name set COMPANY.COM

My sip provider told me
We have verified your alternate number as valid.
You may now pass the above caller ID using either of the following methods:
However, if I go into CCA > Configure > Telephony > Dial Plan > Outgoing > Caller-Id TAB
and set the 'alternate' number that they verified to be 'caller ID main PSTN number', it doesnt work.
Does the Cisco UC500 use one of the above methods?
If not, is there a way to force it to use one of those methods?
I havent tried to over-ride each and every internal number using the alternate, I suppose I could try that.

What would be the best way to set this up per each DID or ephone-dn?
