I have a user who will have a 524SG at his office -and- a 7941 remote phone at home. I do know I can tie his extension and DID to both phones at the same time..but, can I then make him an extension mobility user who can log in to any extension mobility enabled phone and be the same user, same extension, same DID, same voicemail box as his 524 & 7941 handsets ? So when he's logged in, he's attached to 3 phones all appearing the same.
Is that possible ? If it is, please give me detail on the steps in order to set this up.
Thank you,
Stacy

Hi Stacy,
This is doable and should be very easy. On his voice user-profile, just define a "number" command ("normal") that matches his primary extension. When he is logged in, it will be as if he were using his main phone.

Hi Stacy,
Take a look at the Shared Line option in CCA. It will give you what you need here and no need to mess with Extension Mobility.

I'm not able to find shared lines and how they will help me by looking at these docs.
Can you give me a little more guidance on what page number on each doc you attached?
In the first doc I cannot find shared lines ..they reference it sort of for octal lines. But the 524SG handset doens't support that so that won't work.
The other two docs are good, but I don't see how they help my question at all.
I'm not even sure the customer wants a shared line anyway- he wants the cofnerence room phone to be a conference room phone until he logs in. and when he logs outs, it goes back to being just a cofnerence room phone.
So he has to be an extension mobility user...but can he be both - have his user, extension, DID as the first button on his desk phone, his remote phone AND then login to a EM enabled phone?
