FXS straight to voicemail

Hello,

I connected a fax machine to the FXS port which is enabled and assigned extension 25 to it.  When I dial from outside (I have an inbound calling route from fax number to this extension) I get straight to voice mail.  Also when I dial the extension 25 locally I get voice mail and call never goes to the fax machine.  What is the problem?

Are you running 2.1.4 or higher firmware?

After update it is working.  Lets ope it doesnt break after 2.2.2   Thanks for help Chris.

Hello Saf and All.

I have a problem and I need urgent help.

Am using E1 terminated on my UC 560 router. I have finished configurations. I can make calls out through my FXS port but no calls are getting through to me. I tried calling my number but it wont go through. I think I got something wrong in my configuration. Please can anyone help me?

Does the E1 controller and interface show up and active? Is the E1 a PRI?
