Seasonal Employee

My customer has a seasonal employee that works only 6 months a year.  They have a Named User contract that will be provisioned soon.  If they delete the employee so that there is a free license, will they still get charged for that user subscription even though no one is using it?

Yes, you are charged for each license whether or not it is being used for the named user plan. The alternative is to contract by active user. You can see the definitions starting on page 3:
