we have cisco room kit plus p 60. we are using Microsoft teams for audio and video call. while in called and share any video through teams, other end not able to listen audio.
This is a know limitation of WebRTC joins right now. There are supposedly ongoing efforts to address this but any details would be covered by NDA so it can’t be posted here.
Alternatives:
Pay for a CVI service such as Cisco VIMT so the endpoint can join via SIP instead. In the short term this only works for meetings hosted by the organization paying for CVI; however, there are publicly stated plans to support CVI joins of any Teams Meeting. Timing details are less clear however.
Pay for Synergy Sky Connect so the endpoint can join via SIP. This has some feature support missing from the Microsoft CVI SDK but it’s not cheap.
Use a newer endpoint that supports MTRoA (Room Bar Pro is usually the replacement model of the Room Kit Plus). This only makes sense when Teams Meetings is the primary meeting platform though. Cisco endpoints in MTRoA can still natively join Webex Meetings if they are also registered to Webex Control Hub though - a unique advantage.
