2802i AP not broadcasting any SSID on either band.

I'm upgrading my companies wireless system. Going from a 2504 WLC to a Catalyst 9800 WLC with 2802i APs.

As far as I can see (on my Cisco Smart Licensing account) the WLC and the AP are registered and licensed.

The AP can associate with the controller. I can see the AP and configure things on it. I just don't see any SSIDs being broadcasted and looking at the AP it's saying the 'Operational status' of the radios are down. As far as I can see I've got both 2.4 and 5ghz radios enabled.

Where am I missing settings?

Thanks.

Are these new APs? Sounds like the APs don't have enough power. You are going to need POE+ to get those going.

Thanks for the reply.

I've thought of that and actually have this AP hooked up to a PoE injector at the moment. Just hooked that up a few hours ago.

Looks like the injector wasn't plugged in correctly. Thanks.
