We had an AP a while back just stop working and started giving this constant loop of CAPWAP errors. We tried to do a factory reset by unplugging, holding the MODE button, and reconnecting power while holding the button until the light turned. This did change the name of the AP to it's mac address but that is about all it did.
We still are getting this constant loop of CAPWAP errors and any commands we put in to change the CAPWAP config come back with the "command disabled" message. What is going on with this AP and what can we do about it?
The following is all of the AP info and the error messages we are receiving:
AP Info:

That is not going to fix the issue.
In ROMMON, post the complete output to the following commands:
dir flash:ap3g2-rcvk9w8-mx

I can't seem to get in rommon. I have been using the same usb to rj45 cable since the beginning, but every since I flashed that image when I try to send a break signal; I looked up all the break signal keyboard combinations on cisco just to try others, and none of them seem to work. It just continues loading and never enters ROMMON. I tried on a separate computer and I tried with multiple applications (screen on mac, teraterm and putty on windows). I do have a separate serial to usb converter that I tried as well and that didn't work either (Was only able to try this cable on windows as it doesn't seem to work on mac). I ordered another cable but the initial one I was using was brand new so I'm not sure that is going to work either.

That's what I figured the issue was, but I can't seem to get into ROMMON now. When the image is inflating I hit Esc and nothing happens. I have also tried TeraTerm (Alt-B) and several other keyboard shortcuts I found in cisco forums, none of them will get me into ROMMON. It's almost as if it doesn't sense that I am sending a break signal. How should I go about diagnosing why this is happening?
