Cisco Aironet 1815i Access Point Reset and CAPWAP to Mobility Express

Hi all, 

How can i reset AP 1815i. I tried to press mode button then connect PoE cable and hole mode for 25 second, but still. 

Hit ESC key to stop autoboot: 0

I pressed Escape button but not going to config mode. Below are the complete list:

Hello,

Looks like you may need to hold the mode button a bit longer to trigger the full reset ; see below:

Button is pressed. Configuration reset activated..
Keep the button pressed for > 20 seconds for full reset

Wait for the button to be released ....
Button pressed for 9 seconds

 

You can also do this from the CLI with this command : "Capwap ap erase all "

If neither 'Hit ESC' doesn't work nor the factory reset method to keep pressd the Reset button for more than 20 secs (an less than 60 secs) then something maybe done improperly.

I understand you are unable to get into privilege mode after booting to invoke 'capwap ap erase' to try again the previous methods (try using a different console App just in case the one you use does not accept hitting ESC while booting to fall into u-boot)
