It might be an issue with the configured country. On the WLC it's France (or I confuse it with the location BLE), while your AP is an -I model, meaning it's not allowed for France.

See here: http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/assets/prod/wireless/wireless-compliance-tool/index.html

Just search for -i to find all Countries allowed for an -i AP.

It might also be something else entirely, can you output the console log of the AP while it's booting and trying to join the controller?

Paste the output of these commands:

sh sysinfo from WLC

sh version from AP

I will recommend to upgrade the SW version to the stable version: 8.2.151.0

Hi Sandeep,

i already upgrade the WLC to the version 8.2.151.0, it didn't help and the problem still the same.

please find attached the outputs that you demanded.

thank you.

You have wrong Regularity domain AP"AP 2802I-I-K9". (Its for Egypt)

You are in Europe and It must be AP 2802I-E-K9. (E means Europe)

Please check with your supplier and change it.

Hi patoberli,

thanks for your response, i will check the Regularity domain with our Presales service.

please find attached the output that demanded.

best regards.

Thanks. I'm fairly sure it's caused by the wrong regulatory domain of the AP.

Hi,

the problem was caused by a regulatory domain mismatch as you said.

you have to add the country that supports -I regulatory domain on the WLC configuration.

thanks a lot guys.

Marouane.

Hi Marouane

If you plan to use the -I AP in France, trade it for an -E model, or you might get in conflict with the local authority if you use channels/transmit power that isn't allowed in France.
