Hi All We need to change the default managment vlan on a deployment of 1832i and 1852i For now i only have a 1852 connected and all vlans are configured Van 1 mgmt Vlan 402 clients I have the switch ports configured as trunk and native is the mgmt vlan ( for now 1) AS soon as I change the MGMT to vlan 400 and change the native on the switch to 400 I can no more see the mgmt of the mobilty express How can I change mgmt vlan to 400, for the scope of the Ap's without loosing mgmt and the scope. Regards PS: attached current configuration

vlan 400 have the the subnet 192.168.0.2 ?

Hi.
Vlan 400 mgmt is 192.168.0.0/24 network
192.168.0.2 is the ip of the mgmt for the mobility
vlan 402 clents is 192.168.2.0/23 network

You need to tag the mgmt interface to vlan 400.
(WLC)>config interface address management <ip_ADDRESS> <MASK> <IP_DEFAULT-GATEWAY>
(WLC)>config interface vlan management 400
(WLC)>save config

Hi,
Mgmt interface being untagged is requirement for AP running Mobility express capability.
Refer it documented as well.
If multiple VLANs are being used for client traffic, the switch portshould be configured to trunk the VLANs. Also, note that management traffic is untagged and if a VLAN is being used for management, it should be configured as a native VLAN on the switch port. Example of the switch port is as follows:
