Dear All,
we are running Cisco 2 WiSM2 Controllers (Active/Active LoadBalancing) on AireOS 8.2.151.0 and have the Extended UNII-2 Channels enabled.
Many users are currently complaining that they are facing Problems with connecting to the SSIDs even though the RSSI is -45dBm or lower and they stand right next to the APs.
Sometimes they are able to connect but after a while no longer get any arp Information.
Are there any known issues with this AireOS release which could be an Explanation for this behavior ? Are you facing similar issues with your Clients on this release ?
Thanks,
Thorsten

8.2.161.0 has some fixed bugs regarding ARP, like this one here CSCvc67005 and this here CSCvd72664.
Release notes: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/release/notes/crn82mr6.html
There are also various other bugs fixed.
In case you still use Windows 7 and the clients have newer Intel N or AC adapters, make sure the driver is updated at least to 19.40, for security reason (latest WPA2 vulnurability) go to the newly released 20.xx driver. Not anymore sure if that Intel bug also affected Windows 10, but it might not hurt to update the driver there too.
